Colon Cleanse

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

There are many ways to do a colon cleanse. One does not always need a colon cleanser. I’ve heard of water colon cleanse, lemonade colon cleanse, fruit colon cleanse, and vegetable colon cleanse. With these types of cleanses, everything consumed is natural and healthy. One does not have to put themselves through the trouble of researching colon cleansers when going through a colon cleanse, and it is easier too. There is also a type of colon cleanse called colonics. What happens during colonics is a tube is put through the rectum, and then purified water with minerals is flushed through the colon, thus cleansing the colon. This process is repeated several times to ensure a full colon cleanse.

There are many results that come with a colon cleanse. However, because everyone is different, not everyone will have the same result. Besides the colon being detoxified, some possible results may be weight loss, more energy, and more. Having a colon cleanse done is a good idea. No one wants toxins floating around in their body, harming themselves. Performing a colon cleanse will fix that. There are minimal risks found with doing a colon cleanse. So with all the benefits, there is no harm in having a colon cleanse done.

Caffeine

Caffeine is one of the most controversial topics I know of. There are so many people addicted to it, and swear it doesn’t affect them. I talk to people every day who are either soda drinkers or coffee drinkers who have trouble sleeping, get frequent headaches, and are extremely irritable. Yet they swear it is not the caffeine. Studies have linked caffeine with all of these symptoms. Most over the counter headache medicine is loaded with caffeine because it supposedly helps relieve headache symptoms, but in all reality it is contributing to problems. It is not a coincidence to find out that the ones drinking large amounts of cola, coffee and other heavily caffeinated drinks are also popping headache pills all day long too. Then they complain about not being able to sleep. Of course caffeine is not the only factor in these scenarios, but it is a big part of it. I’m not saying that caffeine is the devil, or that we should avoid it like the plague, but I do think that we all consume way too much of it. Also there is a small percent of the population that actually benefits from caffeine when they get a migraine, but it is a very small percent. The rest of them that claim it relieves there headaches are the ones that are addicted to it.
